IQCS Action Plan for Existing
IQCS will undertake all audits including the surveillance or re-certification as per ISO
9001:2015 only from January 1, 2017. However any non-compliance with new
requirements will be treated as “observations” only, however the non compliance
against ISO 9001:2008 will be treated as “Non-compliance”. The observations pending or
raised on or after September 1, 2017 will be treated as non-conformity without
impacting the certification status of the client. The non conformities pending on
September 1, 2017 may affect the certification status depending upon the severity and
may lead to cancellation of the certification granted. The certificates of the
organization who fail to complete the transition by September 1, 2018 will be treated as
invalid however the certificates may be reinstated after ensuring the necessary
compliance to ISO 9001:2015.
The Certification to ISO 9001:2015 will be made only after IQCS ensures that all
identified findings /non-conformities have been appropriately addressed and the
effectiveness of QMS is demonstrated.
IQCS will stop accepting the applications as per ISO 9001:2008 from January 1, 2017 and
only ISO 9001:2015 applications will be accepted.
